Climate preference: Thrives in hot, humid conditions with plenty of moisture and fertile soil. Commonly grown across the southern states and into California.
Growing options: Outdoors in warm climates. For colder regions: a greenhouses, large movable pots, or grow seasonally outdoors with heavy mulching, harvesting before winter freezes. Colder regions have more of a challenge to grow the sugarcane
